Coventry rose from the ashes of the Second World War and has never looked back. A city with a proud history, a bright future and its wonderful people the very heartbeat of all that it is.

Lady Godiva, a beacon of hope, is perhaps our most famous resident – but the city also boast Frank Whittle, the inventor of the jet engine, poet Philip Larkin and actors Nigel Hawthorne and Clive Owen as its own. Home of the Jaguar motor car, the city has a rich history in the motoring industry. And we can also proudly boast an FA Cup trophy courtesy of Coventry City FC, not to mention the other, many, fabulous sporting teams across the region at both a local and national level.
